Before deciding on purchasing a property we must check if the builder from whom you are purchasing a property is under RERA or not. You can check rera number by visiting the RERA website of your state.
Since I live in Karnataka I went to the official website of Karnataka RERA portal and followed the step by step process for RERA number verification and I will share the process of
how to check the RERA number below:
Step 1:For RERAnumber verify you need go here:
https://rera.karnataka.gov.in/home
The page will open in Kannada language. You can change the language to English by selecting the link provided on the top right corner of the website.
Step 2:Below the option ‘Services’ tap on ‘Project Status’
Step 3:You can check details such as:
Applications applied for registration
Applications approved
Applications rejected
Applications withdrawn
Applications under process
Applications under query
Applications third party transfer
Applications applied for completion
To search for the project information you must know the name of the project. Enter project name and other information such as locality, project type, status of the project, expected date of completion and RERA Registration number. You can download the RERA certificates of the project by entering these details.
