Before understanding how to check UTR number in SBI, let us know what is the UTR number. First of all, a UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number is a 16-character code generated for each financial transaction made through NEFT and a 22-character code generated for each financial transaction made through RTGS.

How to Check UTR Status SBI?

  • You should log in to your SBI Netbanking account. Navigate to the 'Transaction History' or 'Account Statement' section. Select the period during which the transaction occurred. Locate the specific transaction; the UTR number is displayed next to it.

  • Another option is to open the SBI YONO App and log in with your credentials. Go to the 'Accounts' section and select your account. Tap on the 'Transaction Details' option.

  1. Choose the date of the transaction, and the UTR number will be displayed with the transaction details.

  2. You may also find the UTR number in the transaction confirmation email sent by SBI, if you've opted for email alerts.
