Before investing in a real estate building, you should check whether the builder is genuine or not. You can do so by checking the official website of the state RERA authority. Eg. for a property in Maharashtra. You check RERA approval on the MAHARERA website.

You can even check whether the building has been given an occupancy certificate or not on the RERA website.
