How to Choose Chandelier Size for Living Room?

My living room measures 12 feet long and 15 feet wide, the total is 27 feet. I converted this to inches and got 324 inches. So I knew a chandelier with a diameter of around 32 inches would be ideal for my living room.

1. First, measure the length and width of your living room in feet.

2. Then add the length and width measurements together.

3. Now convert the total from feet to inches.

4. The resulting number will be the approximate diameter of your chandelier in inches.

But I would suggest you remember to consider the height of your ceiling as well. If you are looking for a chandelier for living room with high ceiling with a standard height of 8 to 9 feet, a chandelier with a drop of 18 to 24 inches is the best. You can adjust the drop accordingly to ensure proper illumination and visual balance for higher ceilings.
