Here’s how we gathered the list and started selecting the perfect wallpaper for my dining space:

• Assess Your Space First: We looked at the room itself and noted down how big it is and how much natural light it gets. Our dining room gets a lot of afternoon sun, so we could handle a darker wallpaper. Also, since we had a wooden table and light-colored floors, we wanted something that would complement those.

• What Vibe Do You Want: Next, we thought about how we wanted the space to feel. We love having dinner parties with friends and family. We wanted our dining room to feel elegant but cosy. This made it easier to slide through and filter the various designs that were beautiful but didn’t fit my vision.

• Bold or Nice: Now, this was the tricky part. I had fluctuating thoughts while choosing between a bold floral and a fine geometric print. In the end, my wife put her thoughts and we went for a bold floral print.

• We browsed through tons of options online, saving favourites. We ordered a few samples to look at the specific lighting on the wall.

• Finally, we chose a textured, dark floral design that was perfectly suiting both of our tastes.

• For a bolder look, choose a wallpaper with a more prominent pattern.
