Many of you must already be having an online business so let me tell you what TCS is first to get an idea of it easily. TCS or Tax Collected at Source under GST denotes the tax that is collected by an e-commerce operator from the consideration which it got on behalf of the suppliers of goods or services who do use the operator’s online platform. It is charged as a percentage on the net taxable supplies. I could understand this much easily but did not know how to claim TCS in GST portal online. How to claim TCS credit in GST portal?

There are just a few needs following you which you can complete the task that are:

  • Go to the GST portal or click on

https://www.gst.gov.in/

  • Go to Services then click on Returns

  • Click on Returns Dashboard

  • You will be shown File Returns option

  • Select the return period of GSTR-3B

  • Click on Proceed to TCS credit received

  • Choose the Financial Year and Return Filing Period

  • Click on Search option next

  • Click on Prepare Online

  • Click on the desired option - Accept/Reject CS or Amendments Accept/Reject option

  • Click on Accept/Reject option

  • Verify the draft and proceed to file the details

  • Preview the Draft once

  • Proceed to file

  • Click on File TDS TCS Received

  • Submit the form
