A few months ago, I was sick and tired of battling a buildup-clogged tap head. So, I learned how to clean a faucet head. I will be happy to share the steps with you.
How to Clean the Faucet Head?
- Get the tap head ready:
Locate the shut-off valve under the washbasin to cut off the water supply. To prevent spills or drips, place a tray or towels underneath the tap to shield the surrounding surfaces.
- Put the tap head in a vinegar soaking:
To start cleaning faucet head, take the tap head out of the fixture. Make sure you have enough vinegar in a container to completely submerge the tap head. Pour vinegar over the tap head and let it soak for at least half an hour.
- Wipe the tap head off:
To clean the tap head, use a little brush or an old toothbrush. This will assist in clearing buildup and debris that may obstruct the water flow. Make sure you clean the entire tap, paying special attention to those difficult-to-reach places.
- Clean and Dry the Faucet Head:
Rinse well with clean water to get rid of vinegar. Ensure that every surface has been thoroughly cleaned. Use a soft cloth or towel to thoroughly dry the tap head after rinsing in order to prevent water stains and encourage a glossy surface.
So this is how do you clean a faucet head.
I hope this helps!
