Hello Priyanka, I can show you how do I clean a toaster. I clean my toaster every week using warm water, and dish soap with a degreaser. This method works really well in cleaning the toaster throughly, removing bread crumbs from difficult spots. So, Let me share the cleaning steps below.

How do you Clean a Toaster?

Here is the process you can use to clean a toaster.

  1. Unplug the toaster and let it cool completely before you start the process.

  2. Take the toaster near a dustbin or hold it above a sink with a trash disposal. If your toaster has a removal tray, open it and remove breadcrumbs using a pastry brush.

  3. Then, flip the toaster upside down and shake it to remove crumbs.

  4. Take a dishpan and mix warm water with dishwashing liquid that contains a degreaser. Submerge only the tray in the cleaning liquid If you own a toaster with a removable tray.

  5. Wash the toaster well using a sponge. Rinse the tray with fresh water and dry it with a soft, microfibre cloth.

  6. Take the pastry brush and get into the inside of the toaster to remove any leftover crumbs.

  7. Dip a sponge in soapy water and wipe down the outer body of the toaster. Avoid the buttons and dials while you do so. Wring out the excess water so the sponge is damp.

  8. Wipe the outer body with a sponge dipped in fresh water to remove leftover soap.

  9. Use a microfiber cloth to dry the body. Reassemble the parts of the toaster and you are done.

This is how to clean the toaster.

Bread and butter is my most favorite breakfast and I often think life would have been tough if I had not bought a toaster. My kids also love bread, be it with jam or butter and the daily use of a toaster makes it dirty quite often. However, making it all clean is not as easy as it seems. You need to make sure that the inside part is all clear or else the breadcrumbs will burn and ruin both the fresh bread and the smell all around. Do you know how to clean a toaster with basic things available at home? If not, let me share with you some.
