Hello Indu. I recently installed anti skid tiles in my bathroom as the earlier ones weren’t ideal for the space. I have formed a cleaning routine for the bathroom, which includes the flooring. So, I can tell you how to clean anti slip bathroom tiles. I use a neutral pH cleaner and a few other equipment to do the job. I recommend cleaning your tiles every once a week to maintain the look.

How to Clean Anti Skid Bathroom Tiles?

Here is the process you can follow:

1. Start by clearing the area. Remove all the furniture, rugs and objects.

2. Take a vacuum cleaner or a broom and remove loose dirt and debris present on the floor. Give extra time to the textured regions and crevices.

3. Take a bucket and fill it with warm water. Add a neutral pH cleaner as per the recommended amount by the manufacturer. Mix well.

4. Dip a microfiber cloth or mop into the solution and wring out the excess liquid.

5. Mop the floor by beginning from one corner and finishing on the other. Use overlapping strokes to cover the floor properly.

6. If there are stains on the floor, you can apply the created solution directly to them. 

7. Then, scrub the surface using a soft-bristled brush. Keep rinsing the brush in between.

8. Take a bucket of water and rinse the mop or microfiber cloth thoroughly. 

9. Fill a fresh bucket of water and dip the mop/cloth to rinse the floor again. 

10. Let the floor dry. You can use a dry microfiber mop/cloth to reduce the drying time.

• I mop using a cleaner made specifically for non-slip floors. This is a key step because using the wrong cleaner, like one with wax, can make things slippery instead of safe. 

• If there are stubborn stains, I use a small brush to scrub the tiles in circular motions. 

• Next, I rinse the entire floor with warm water. I find that hot water does a great job of breaking down soap residue and any greasy buildup, especially in shower areas. 

• After rinsing, I make sure to dry the floor completely. 

• I use a floor scraper to remove excess water and then a dry mop.

Always drying it after cleaning and following this routine keeps my anti-slip bathroom tiles looking great and most importantly, keeps them safe to walk on. I hope you found this answer helpful.
