• Fill the sink with cold water after draining it.

• Twist the fabric one more time to extract the soap.

I use sheer curtains to hide damaged windows and I am sure I am not the only one. Over time, these curtains gathered dander, pet hair, dust, etc. All this accumulated and made my window treatments look dirty. • First, fill a bucket or tub with slightly warm water and add some soaking agent like Napisan.

• Agitate the curtains in the water but don’t leave them for a long time. 5-10 minutes is enough time to remove the dirt from the curtains. I use this time to clean my windows!

• After that, pull the curtains out and gently wring out excess water. Next, put the curtains into clean rinsing water. Swish them around to get the soap out and then rinse them. Wring them out gently.

• Keep a towel out on the clean floor and put your curtain on it. After that, roll the towel up with the curtain inside. Allow it to sit for a few minutes to absorb the water.

• Unroll curtains and shake any excess water out. If they are still not dry enough, repeat the roll and shake again.

• Finally, just hang your sheer curtains up while they’re still slightly damp and they’ll dry into a nice shape.

This process is even better than dry cleaning curtains at home.
