An electric kettle is an appliance I need every morning. I start my day having coffee so I depend on my electric kettle a lot. At times when I don't have gas I use the electric kettle to make some Maggi :P Also, I need the electric kettle to boil hot water during cold winter days. So, this appliance has a very important role in my life. When I first purchased my electric kettle I was happy with it. But after a month I could see some limescale appear on the kettle which in turn affected the taste of my beverages. So, I decided to clean my electric kettle to get rid of calcium deposits. How to descale electric kettle?

To descale your electric kettle you will just need white vinegar and water. Just create a solution with 1 part vinegar and 3 part water. Now, boil the vinegar and water and allow the solution to stand overnight before you clean the kettle from inside. Now, fill the water in the electric kettle and boil it. Remove the water after shaking the solution properly. Use normal water twice to remove the vinegar odor from kettle. Use normal water twice for this. And you can use your kettle on a daily basis once again. This is the process on how to wash electric kettle. 

I would advise you to wash your electric kettle along with your utensils with normal dishwashers daily to keep the electric kettle clean.
