Using the right tile cleaner- A commercial cleaner can be used. Another option is mixing half a cup of Vinegar into a litre of warm water.
Mop selection- A cotton string mop or microfiber mop is the best for cleaning tile floors. The right mopping techniques should be used. The mop should be dipped into the cleaning solution and excess liquid should be drained away. Mopping should be done in an up-and-down motion.
How to Mop Tile Floors without Streaks?
The mop should be turned over to the other side when one side gets dirty.
It should be fully washed when both sides are dirty.
The mop needs to be cleaned thoroughly to avoid blotchy streaks which could arise on the tiled floor.
