Hot Water and Detergent Solution:

• Mix hot water with mild laundry detergent in a bucket.

• Dip a soft cloth into the solution and wipe down the chimney surfaces.

• For stubborn stains, dip a non-abrasive scrub pad into the solution and gently scrub.

• Rinse the cloth in clean water and wipe the chimney again to remove any soap residue.

You can follow these methods and steps to clean your chimney at home. You can also use a market-bought solution but make sure it does not damage the appliance.

Baking Soda and Vinegar are common kitchen supplies that you find in almost all kitchens. He told me to make a mix of those ingredients in a tub and immerse the filter in it. After leaving it there for a few hours, he asked me to scrub it using a damp cloth. 

• Using Caustic Soda

He said that this method is similar to the method mentioned above. For this, he told me to take out the filter and sprinkle some caustic soda over. After that, he asked me to pour some boiling water over it and leave it there for a few hours. Following that, he told me to scrub it using a damp cloth.
