I grew up in a place where there are a lot of mosquitoes but we rarely had mosquitoes in our house despite keeping doors open in the evening. It was because of the presence of jali doors. Though these doors are quite helpful but cleaning them can be a hassle if you don't know how to. So, I’ll be happy to share the steps on how to clean jali doors.
My mother used to clean them every week and thus I came to know about the process. Here is how she used to do it.
How To Clean Door Jali?
There are two types of materials used for jali doors: steel and aluminium. The cleaning steps for both these doors are the same.
Make a cleaning solution by mixing a mild detergent in warm water.
Get a cloth or sponge and soak it in the cleaning solution.
Use the cloth to start scrubbing. There could be stubborn spots, like the corners, use a brush dipped in the solution in those areas.
Now, clean the cloth in clean water and wipe the door again.
After this, use a dry cloth to wipe the door one last time to get rid of the excess water.
Leave the door to air dry completely before you start using it again. That is how to clean jali doors. Hopefully, this has been helpful.
