My living room was a mess and I was going to have some guests over in a few days and I didn’t know where and how to clean it. I called my cousin and asked her how to clean my living room. She told me about a few steps that I have added below.

• She told me to start by decluttering the room. For that she suggested that I remove all the trash, papers, and items from the room.

• Next, she told me to dust the shelves, furniture, and electronics with a microfiber cloth.

• Following that I was suggested that I clean the windows and mirrors using a glass cleaner.

• After that the next step was to vacuum the carpets and rugs, and mop the floors with water and cleaning solution. 

• Finally she asked me to arrange the cushions and straighten the furniture, and tidy up all the remaining items.

• Dust

Spiders enjoy the dust. Hence, this simple cleanup will help keep those eight-legged creatures away in addition to giving you a sense of accomplishment. Use a microfiber cloth or a Swiffer duster quickly over any surfaces that have accumulated dust.

• Spot clean glass surfaces

Take the glass cleaner and spray it on a rag. It will let you focus on the filth and splatters on the glass that is more noticeable.
