My friend suggested I use dishwashing detergent and warm water on asking her about how to clean natural stone floors. I implemented the process and was able to give the floors a new look. It is very easy and effective but only if the stains are not that hard. You can learn the process from me here.

How to Clean Natural Stone Floor Tiles?

There is a simple process to clean stone floor tiles so read it here:

  • Sweep Regularly: Use a soft-bristled broom or dust mop to remove dirt and debris from the stone tile floor completely

  • Damp Mopping: Mix a mild detergent or pH-neutral cleaner with water, then dampen a mop and wipe the floor. Make sure not to use excessive water or else it can stain or weaken the stone.

  • Rinse the floor: Make sure you rinse the floor again with clean water and leave it to dry for at least an hour

  • Sealing: Apply a stone sealer to protect against stains and moisture.

  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: just a suggestion, never use acidic or abrasive cleaners like vinegar or bleach, as these can damage or dull the stone.

This process is also the answer for how to clean natural stone tile in bathroom. However, if you feel the stains are harder, use a stone cleaning solution instead of detergent and water solution.
