During a house party, a friend of mine dropped some food items on my nylon carpet by accident. As soon as I noticed that, I removed the food from over it but I didn’t know what to do after that. Another friend who was at the party then came up to me and told me how to clean nylon carpet stains. Here is what he told me.
How to Spot Clean Nylon Carpet?
Here is what he informed me to do to clean the food off the nylon carpet.
He told me to blot the stain with a clean piece of cloth and rinse the area with some lukewarm water.
Next, I had to repeat the same process for quite some time to remove the stain.
Since the stain wasn’t going away, he suggested that I make a solution of one-fourth teaspoon of liquid dish soap and 1 cup of warm water.
After that, I had to apply the solution to the stain with a clean cloth and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Following that, he told me to rinse the area with lukewarm water and blot the area with white paper towels.
When the carpet was finally dry, he asked me to vacuum and brush the cleaned area to restore its texture.
This is how I was able to remove the stain from my Nylon Carpet. I hope this helps.

How to clean nylon carpet?
On your dirty carpet apply the cleaning solution with a sprayer/ DIY spray bottle.
For light stains, you can use diluted dish soap in water. For deeper stains, use dish soap pure, and use a soft-bristled brush.
Sprinkle baking soda over your carpet as well.
Brush it around to work the powder into the fibres. The friction from brushing the powder will cause static electricity to attract dirt to the power particles.
Finally, use a dry vacuum cleaner to remove excess baking soda with all the dirt.
Repeat the process until the entire carpet has been cleaned.
