How to Clean Plastic Paint Wall?

Cleaning plastic-painted walls can be a delicate process. Fortunately, all you need to complete the task is a few common household items and time, not special supplies or costly equipment. I clean my plastic-painted walls frequently because I have a toddler who thinks the walls are her canvases. So, I can tell you how to clean plastic paint wall.

How to clean walls with plastic paint?

1. Make sure you have everything you need 

No special wall cleaner is required for wall cleaning. You probably already have everything you require.

1. Prepare 

By placing towels along the base of the walls to collect any drips or dust and protect the floor.

1. Dust the walls 

Dust the walls by vacuuming them with the dust brush attachment and then wiping them with a tack cloth.

1. Mix dish soap and water 

In one bucket, add one gallon of warm water, and mix clear liquid dish soap and water. Put a cloth in the solution and thoroughly wring it out.

1. Wash gently in circular motions 

When you are confident that your surface is safe for work, it is time to tackle the entire wall. Lightly move your hands around the surface in a circular motion, starting at the top of the wall and working your way down.

1. Treat any stains that won't go away

If you find stains on painted walls that won't go away, use baking soda and water. Baking soda is a natural stain remover; to make a paste, combine half a cup of baking soda and a quarter cup of water. The stain should come up if you gently rub that paste into the stained area of the wall.

1. Rinse the walls 

By thoroughly wringing a cloth out of clean water, rinse the wall. To rinse, wipe the wall with a cloth.

1. Dry the walls

By gently rubbing the surface with a clean, dry cloth, dry up the wall. You can also help the walls dry as you go by keeping your windows open.
