• I finally pushed the sponge along the track after wetting it with warm, soapy water. All done! My windows now move smoothly and silently.

One thing you must keep in mind is that larger dirt can still be present after the sponge reaches the end of the track. Simply clear it out and move the sponge along the track once more.

1.  First, grab a soft-bristled brush and scrub the surface of the window tracks with it. This will loosen the dirt accumulated on the tracks.

2. Take a vacuum cleaner ]with a cervical attachment. Remove the loose dust off the tracks with the vacuum.

3. Mix warm water and white vinegar in equal amounts and transfer the solution to a spray bottle. 

4. Spray the solution over the tracks and ensure that the surfaces are covered well with the solution. 

5. Leave the solution for a few minutes, and then scrub the tracks with a toothbrush. 

6. Using a soft, damp microfiber cloth, get rid of debris and the cleaning solution.

7. Do this till you see that the tracks are free of dirt and any unwanted material.

8. At last, take a dry microfiber cloth and wipe the tracks dry.
