Hello. I saw you asking how to clean vinyl siding and I can help you. I have vinyl siding at my house and clean it every once in a while. You can use a homemade cleaning mix like dish soap and water. Let me share the complete process.

How Do You Clean Vinyl Siding?

  1. Use a mild cleaning solution, as you don’t want to risk damaging the siding. Make a cleaning solution using dish soap and water.

  2. Alternatively, you can make a solution by mixing water and white vinegar in the ratio of 7:3.

  3. Use a garden hose and start spraying the cleaning solution using a sprayer attachment to remove loose dirt and dust present on the siding.

  4. Take a soft-bristled brush and scrub the siding. Don’t use an abrasive sponge or brush, as vinyl siding is prone to scratching. A metal brush is also not a good choice.

  5. While scrubbing, use gentle pressure to remove dirt and not cause any damage to the siding. Work your way from top to bottom, cleaning each row before you move ahead.

  6. With the garden hose having the spray attachment, rinse the cleaning solution off your siding. Work your way like before, from top to down. Don’t spray at an upward angle, as it can force the water underneath the siding.

  7. Use elbow grease to get rid of tough stains off your siding. Scrub using a non-abrasive sponge. Try the scrub pad on a small and inconspicuous area first.

This is all about how do I clean vinyl siding. I hope this helps.
