I can share a step-by-step guide on how to clean walls in house. My home gets cleaned every day. The domestic help ensures the floors are swept and mopped, and the cook ensures the kitchen platform is clean. However, the walls of my home are often forgotten, though I remembered it during last year's Diwali cleaning. I’ll be happy to share the steps that I followed to clean the walls.

How to Clean Walls of House?

• Move any furniture that is obstructing the wall and take down all artwork. 

• It's important to dust the walls before washing them. Dust the fans, cobwebs, walls, and ceilings with a broom or vacuum. 

• Make sure to spot-clean any spots. Apply baking soda, vinegar, or any of your preferred store-bought cleaners. When using vinegar, mist the stain with a solution made of equal parts white vinegar and water, let it sit, and then, if necessary, scrub with a soft sponge. Now to create a paste with the baking soda, apply it to the stain, let it set, scrub, and then wipe it off with a moist cloth. 

• To make a soapy solution, use warm water and mild dishwashing soap. Clean the wall from top to bottom in little circular strokes using a gentle sponge. As you go, wipe away any water droplets.

• Follow the same process with a clean wet cloth to remove all soapy residue, ensuring a bright, clean wall.

• Finally, wipe the walls with a dry cloth to prevent water stains and future dust accumulation.

• Make a mixture of toothpaste and baking soda. 

• Apply it on the areas with the marks and leave for 10 minutes. 

• Use a wet sponge to clean the areas.
