How to Clean House Water Tank?

  • First of all the tank should be drained, and the water should be drained through the exit valve. Any remaining water should be collected in a bucket. Make sure you don't cause any flooding while draining the tank. Also empty and clean the tank from outside.

  • Clean the tank with a baking soda and liquid detergent mixture. The inside of the tank should be scrubbed with a bristle brush or hard sponge. Move your arm with the sponge from side to side

  • Using a hot water and detergent solution scrub all the inside surfaces. Don't forget to clean all the hoses and pipes as well.
