How to Clean Window Glass from Outside ?

Hi! As Diwali is approaching, I decided to start my cleaning from windows and doors. However, I had no idea how to clean window glass from outside, so I researched about it. I came across a video where I found it’s actually quite simple to clean the glass window from outside. All that we need is home ingredients like dish soap and vinegar. I have shared the steps that I came across below.

How to Clean Glass Window from Outside?

Before starting

, you must remove any piled-up dust on your window using a clean dry cloth. You can dampen the cloth a little bit if you need, or even add a few small drops of dish soap for that extra little cleaning.

Here’s the process on how to clean outside glass windows that I found on YouTue video: 

• You must start by taking half cup vinegar and adding two cups of warm water in it. We are using vinegar because it eliminates any potential bacterial stains from the glass and serves as a natural disinfectant. 

• After that, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for a nice fragrance afterwards. I love using lemon, so I added the same in my solution.

• Then spray your window with the prepared solution and let it sit on the window for a few minutes so that it does its magic and the stains loosen. 

• Now take a cloth or window wiper to wipe it all off. Don’t use too much cleaner though.

• After wiping it all off, you have to leave the surface to get dry. However, if your window has any hard stains then keep on re-scrubbing until gone.

• Last but not least, give it a final touch by thoroughly taking a soft cloth over the dried window to not leave behind any marks or smudges. Now you enjoy a clean glass window.
