How to Close Bank of Baroda Account?

I had a Bank of Baroda account, and I was planning to close it because I didn’t want to use it anymore. I wasn’t aware of the closure procedure and thus, I called a friend who had previously closed his BOB account. I asked him how to close Bank of Baroda account. Here is what he told me. 

How to Close Bank of Baroda Account Online?

My friend told me that closing a Bank of Baroda account online is not possible. He said that account holders need to visit their respective banks to get their accounts closed. 

But here are a few things that he suggested to me after I asked him how to close BOB bank account online. 

• He told me to access the

  Account Closure Request Form

  from the Bank of Baroda website. 

• Then he suggested me to download the form by clicking on the download icon on the top right corner of the screen. 

• Now, he told me to fill out the form accurately and then sign it. 

• Then, he asked me to visit the Bank of Baroda branch along with their passbook, cheque book, and debit card and surrender all of that.  

• He also told me to submit documents such as proof of identity and address proof.
