How to Close SBI Fixed Deposit Online?

To close your FD account, 

• Visit

  https://retail.onlinesbi.sbi/

  to access your net banking

• Click on the Fixed Deposit tab

• Under the Fixed Deposit tab, select the ETDR/STDR (FD) tab.

• Click on the "Close A/C Prematurely" tab.

• This part will provide a list of your FDs.

• Click the Continue button after selecting the FD you wish to close.

• Check the details of your FD, including the amount and the maturity date.

• In the "Remarks" box, state the reason behind the FD closure, then select the "confirm" tab.

• A "high security password" will be sent to your registered mobile number.

• After providing the "high security password," select the "confirm" tab.

• A note verifying the closure of the FD will be sent to you.

• Your savings account will be credited with the FD amount.

You must submit the FD closure request on the SBI website between 8:00 AM IST and 8:00 PM IST if you would like an immediate closure. Any closure request received after 8:00 PM will be reviewed the following business day.
