As per my knowledge it is not possible to close the Standard Chartered Bank account online. You can only download the account closure form online, followed by submitting it to the Bank in person. The steps that I followed in this regard are as follows,

Account Closure Form – Standard CharteredAfter this, I had to fill out the form (using black ink and in capital letters) by entering details like,
Account name
Account number
Purpose of closure, etc.
After filling out this form, I had to submit it to the Bank
