Last month, I shifted to my new home which has a gas pipeline. However, I was puzzled about how to connect gas pipeline to stove. So, I asked my sister about the same. She advised me that I could accomplish this simply by connecting a gas hose to the stove and the kitchen's gas supply. I have included the steps she explained to me below for your convenience.

Coupling a gas pipeline to a stove is a straightforward task that must be done with caution. I have followed the below process to do the pipe connection easily:
I started by turning off the gas valve. The gas valve is near the gas connection in the kitchen. I just turned the tap in the perpendicular direction to the pipe. It got shut down.
Typically, a gas hose cannot go directly on your stove. That is why I used a gas connector. I first wrapped it by applying multiple layers of tape at the end of my gas connection to the stove. It helped me to avoid a leak. Then, I inserted the gas connector and tightened it with the wrench as the tape was stuck.
I then looked for a rubber ring and connected the gas hose to the stove with the wrench.
Then, I connected the rubber hose to the gas pipeline.
Finally, I put soapy water from my stove to pipeline to search for little bubbles. My sister informed me that if the bubbles were not coming, that means your connection is leak-free.
Throughout the procedure, it is critical to follow safety precautions and verify that the stove functions properly. I hope you get through the process of connecting gas stove to gas line.

If you’ve recently bought a new gas stove and are literally clueless about how to connect gas stove to gas line then don’t worry you’re not alone. I recently moved out of my parent’s house and had to do everything on my own. I was equally puzzled about this one so I called up my mom to understand how it is done. She helped me out and maybe I can share the tips with you as well.
How to connect gas pipe to stove India? Here is the step by step guide she shared with me over a video call.
Turn off the gas burners first
Switch off the regulator knob
Keep everything separate. Your cylinder should be disconnected from the regulator
Once you have the pipe with regulator on, take the other open end of the gas pipe and attach it with the stove. You can also use a connector to connect the gas pipe with the gas stove. Those are easily available in the market.
Now carefully check both the ends of the gas pipe and ensure there is no room for leakage at all. That could be dangerous so make sure you have a good eye for any leakages.
Once you have verified everything, attach the regulator to the cylinder and turn on the knob
Check if you hear any sound that goes like ‘hiss..’ if it is there, remove the regulator and place the cap back on the cylinder, you will need an expert for your rescue. If there is no such case then simply turn on the burner and light the gas.
See if you are new to this and unsure about your skills, I would strongly recommend you to call a technician for help. They know their job well and don’t even charge that much.
I hope you understand how to connect gas stove to gas line.
