My phone is an android one so I can tell you that if you want to connect your AC with wifi you must have Android 6.0 or more, smartphone or tablet. 2 GB or more RAM size, with an app preload criteria of Bluetooth profile 4.0 or higher, and terminal capable of Wi-Fi mirroring. Also, a support resolution of 1280*720(HD), 1920*1080(FHD), and 2560*1440(WQHD). The steps that you need to follow to connect your Samsung AC to wifi are as follows:
Download and install the
SmartThings app, and sign in
First, confirm that both your Wi-Fi router and air conditioner are powered on.
Open the SmartThings application. In the home view, tap the + sign and choose (Add device).
In that sequence, select (Air conditioner) and (Room air conditioner).
Press the (Start) key.
After choosing the room and location you want for the air conditioner, tap Next at the bottom of the page.
Hold down the remote control's timer button until the app displays the air conditioner icon. The device may take a while to connect to the internet.
Press the air conditioner's power button.
Enter the Wi-Fi credentials to link the two devices.
Please wait once your Samsung account is linked to the air conditioner.
The registration process will be done after this, and you can set the air conditioner's name.
