How to decorate a room?

Talking about the home we do want to make your room pretty. A room can tell many things about us. A vibrant, bright room helps us to remain positive. A room expresses your favourite colours, feelings and collections. At times looking at times we get confused about what to purchase and what not to purchase. Let me share with you 3 tips on how to decorate a room.

• Choose Lighter Shades

The first step on how to decorate your room is to choose a good colour for your room. I like lighter pastel shades rather than darker ones. The lighter shades reflect the lights in the room and make the room look larger. Darker colours are not good options but you can add interesting prints or stencil designs with darker colours. Go for hues of blue, lavender, or green. These colours are considered to be calm and serene. 

• Keep the room simple

You might be thinking how to decorate room with simple things because we don't want a room to look claustrophobic. It's better to keep some distance between the bed and other furniture for ease of movement. Try to leave a minimum of three feet distance between beds and furniture. Include all the necessary items in your room such as a table, chair, dressings, cupboard. To utilize the space you can create a wall cupboard and attach a mirror to it. Your room will look spacious.

• Decorate your room

Decorate your room with small plants. There are different kinds of plants you can hang. Try to purchase a curtain that resonates with the colours of the wall. Also, there are so many variations of lighting available in the market. Include wooden furniture in your bedroom.
