Christmas calls for awesome decorations, lights and cheers. I once threw a small Christmas party at my flat and obviously I wanted to have christmasy feels right on point so I just brainstormed on some living room Christmas decor ideas. I wanted it to be warm yet inviting enough. That’s when I decided to do research and made beautiful arrangements (I assume because everybody had fun that night!). Anyway, enough of my story, I am going to help you know a thing or two about Christmas living room decor here. So have fun and have a great Christmas party!
How to decorate a small living room for Christmas?I will give you a basic idea here so bear with me. Obviously bringing in a Christmas tree was not an option for me so I went ahead and let creativity speak for itself. I had a rack to hang my bangles so I simply hung my bangles in the shape of a Christmas tree and highlighted the rack with fairy lights. I also brought in a few aromatic candles to set up on my coffee table.
Next I decorated the wall with star lights and hung printed pictures of the whole gang on a string light. We planned a potluck so I had to prepare the dining area as well for which I simply laid down my table cover and in the center of the table placed a big bowl which had Christmas cards and people had to drop their gifts to exchange with each other.
I have a minibar and to funk it up a little I decided to stack beer, rum and vodka in cute socks which were quite cheap :P
The final element of decoration was my guests, my friends, my gems of course. They elevated everything to the next level with their presence. It was one memorable Christmas for me.
