• Install outdoor lighting to create a magical ambiance in the evenings.

• Use decorative pots and planters to showcase your favourite flowers and herbs.

• Consider adding a fountain, pond, or small water feature for a soothing atmosphere.

• Lay down pathways with gravel, stone, or mulch for both functionality and charm.

• Use climbing plants and trellises.

• Attract wildlife with birdhouses and feeders to create a lively garden.

• You can hang artwork and wind chimes.

I would also suggest you focus on the garden’s entrance and try to decorate it as much as possible. These can really make your garden look beautiful and welcoming.

If you have an outdoor space, especially a garden, it would be a crime if you didn’t decorate it. Well, at least that’s how I think. I have a small garden of my own and trust me if you ever visit my home, you will spend most of your time there. I personally love to keep up my garden. It started as a hobby but turns out, it has always been my passion. I could help you with a few ideas on how to decorate garden. 

I prefer going with the recycled material to decorate my house garden. I had many tin cans, plastic bottles, broken mugs, etc. so I decided to use them along with many other things. Here are a few things which you can do too:

A garden without greenery will be air without oxygen for me. Since I had many plastic bottles and tins which could be recycled better, I decided to turn them into flower pots, and planters. Some of them were hanging from the banyan tree in my garden while some were placed on the fence.

I have seen many people who have beautiful gardens but they barely look at the maintenance of the entrance. I believe it is as important for us to keep the entrance interesting as the garden. I got an arch built with a small gate to be installed in the garden entrance. I also have huge palm planters which I had placed at the entrance. The arch is now covered with bougainvillea vines and it looks magnificent.

I have always been fascinated with the fountains. I always dreamt of having one in my own house. Although it is not as big as I would have loved, we managed to make a small fountain in the middle of the garden. It looks handsome sitting among the beautiful greenery. 

Earlier I had stools in my house which we used to take out in the garden for evening tea and snacks but when I rearranged the garden decor, I got a sitting area built with a coffee table, and chairs that withstand all weather conditions.
