Going away from home to an environment totally alien can be difficult. But this is where most of our journey starts as a student. After 12th I had left my parents and joined a college located in a totally different State in India. But luckily my roommates brought me to this new world which is fun and at the same time engaging. I never liked the white wall in front of my bed while staying in the hostel. (Hostels are small and the only thing you will get is a bed and wall in front of you). So, my friends and I decided to decorate the hostel room. Let me share my views on how to decorate hostel room in a cheap and easy way.
How to decorate hostel room India?
1. Colourful Wall
In the hostel, you will attend many birthdays and parties and you will also need to buy gifts periodically. What my friends and I did was we would save the colourful leftover gift wraps, cut them into round pieces and stick them on the wall ( like I said I never liked those boring white walls).
2. Photos
We liked to remember the memories, the good and the bad ones. Every month we would go down to the photo booth to get the pictures developed. We would use a rope and hang them with clips. This is an easy way on how to decorate your hostel room in India.
3. Stickers
I am a Marvel fan. I would always put up posters of every Marvel movie before its release. It's the cheapest way to decorate a hostel room. You can use any poster and paste it to the wall. Whatever motivates you works the best. Some of my hostel mates pasted good inspirational quotes which helped them to relax.
