Hi Karishma,

I love the suggestions that Anandi has dropped for decorating a wall behind a TV. I have been in a similar situation where I was clueless about what to do with the wall behind the TV. A friend suggested that I hire an Interior designer to help me with it.

I hired

to help me with it. The designer suggested a few ideas for me to choose from. Here are those.

How To Decorate Wall Behind Corner TV Stand

Adding Lively Greenery

She said that TV's when switched off feels cold and unaesthetic. To bring it to life I can do some decoration behind TV wall. She suggested hanging a potted trailing plant in the corner opposite the TV for that. She also said placing a tall plant on each side of the TV can add balance to the area.

Wooden Panels

Wooden panels are one of the best options to decorate the wall behind TV, she added. Using wooden panels would create a cozy feel that goes well with quite a lot of other styles. You can go for a rustic and cozy feel or if your style is more bohemian you can go for a light, tan wood colour.

Brick Wall

According to her, brick walls give an earthy touch to the interiors of a house. This is because of their rustic color which gives off an old cottage type vibe. This simple wall decor can be done without spending much.

And that is how you can complete decorating the wall behind the TV.

I recently made the decision to decorate the wall behind my TV stand. I wanted to make the area more visually appealing and give it some personality. I'm eager to discuss my firsthand experience and offer some helpful advice on how to decorate wall behind TV stand.

Ideas for decorating wall behind TV:

  • Theme Selection:

The first step is to decide on a theme for your decor. This may take the form of a more traditional or a more varied and contemporary one. Finding the ideal pieces for your behind TV wall decor will be simpler once you have a theme in mind.

  • Selection of focus point:

After deciding on a theme, the space needs to have a focal point. This might be a piece of art, a mirror, or the TV itself. The focal point will serve as the primary point of the decor, so it's crucial to pick something you enjoy that will provide the room with visual interest.

  • Wall-mounted cabinets or floating shelves:

Place wall-mounted cabinets or floating shelves on either side of the TV stand. This not only increases storage space but also offers a chance to display ornamental goods. Place decorative items on the shelves, such as books, vases, plants, or other items, to give the wall more character and depth.

  • Gallery wall:

Behind the TV wall decor, arrange a collection of framed pictures, pieces of art, or prints to form a gallery wall. For an eclectic effect, mix & combine different sizes and frames. To give variation and balance, you can also use other ornamental components like wall clocks or sconces.

  • Use cable management solutions to conceal unsightly cables and cords:

To keep the cables neat and hidden, you can use cable clamps, cord covers, or cable raceways. This makes the wall behind your TV stand look streamlined and tidy.

  • Lighting:

To enhance the design, think about adding accent lighting above or close to the TV stand. To brighten the wall, use LED strip lights, pendant lights, or wall-mounted sconces. This improves the overall look of your living area and creates a cosy and welcoming ambiance.

  • Hang some art:

Decorating with art is an excellent method to give the room personality and style. It's crucial to choose artwork that fits the space appropriately and blends in with the rest of the decor when choosing it on the wall behind your TV stand.

The wall behind my TV stand turned out great, and I'm really satisfied with it. Now that it's improved, the space as a whole looks much better visually. I was able to make the wall behind my TV stand into an aesthetically pleasing and useful place by following these tips on how to decorate wall behind TV stand.
