States like Assam have a respective online portal where you can remove name from patta. Let me tell you how to remove name from patta there:

  • Visit the

    Sewasetu portal

  • Read the guidelines and requirements next

  • Tap on the Apply option

  • Log in or get registered next and proceed with the process

More or less, the process will be the same for all states so just look for your state’s Patta portal and look for an option to remove your name. 

If you are looking for an offline process, you can visit the nearest administrative office or other relevant government office and change it there. Just make sure you have all the property documents and your identity proof with you.
