I was unaware of the online method, so I used to make payments on my electricity bills offline by visiting the North Bihar Power Board office. Even to get my payment receipt, I have to stay in the huge crowd at the board office. However, during COVID, my son showed me how simple it is to pay and electric bill download Bihar. For downloading the payment receipt, I simply need to visit the official website of North Bihar Power Distribution.

How to Download Bijli Bill Bihar?

Although Nihal Shaw described how to obtain the bill online from the official website, I found it quite complex. Hence, I have shared the direct link and steps that I follow to download an online payment receipt of my electricity bill easily.

• I used to click on the

  North Bihar Power Distribution Official Payment Receipt

• I used to select "Energy" as the payment type there.

• I then input my CA number and captcha code in the box as instructed.

• Finally, I clicked the submit button. I download my bill straight from the next page and view the receipt for my most recent online bijli bill payment.

Alternatively, you can also follow the steps provided by Urvi Singh above. I have also decided to pay my upcoming bill via NoBroker app.

Recently, my cousin who resides in Patna (South Bihar) informed me that I could download my bill directly from the NoBroker Pay app. I followed his instructions and got my latest bill within a minute. Read on to get the detailed steps to get your bill easily.

How to Download Bihar Electricity Bill?

My cousin showed me the steps to download my bill from the NoBroker app within a go. I have shared the same below:

• Download and install the NoBroker app on your mobile.

• Sign in with your registered mobile number and provide OTP.

• Tap on the three lines available on the right upper corner of your mobile display. 

• Scroll slightly and tap on the NoBroker Pay.

• Select the Bill Payments.

• Click the icon for electricity.

• Select your state as Bihar. 

• Now, select your respective board. If you want to download bill for North Bihar, then choose North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. Moreover, for SBPDCL bill download, choose South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd as your board.

• Enter your CA Number.

• Tap on "

  Get Bill

  " to download the latest electricity bill.

link. Here, you just need to mention your CA Number, the displayed code and tap on Submit to download your electricity bill. 

But, I would suggest you go for NoBroker Pay to download a monthly bill easily on your mobile. It will assist you in keeping a watch on how much electricity you are using and your last payment date.

A few months back I had lost the hard copy of my SBPDCL Electricity bill and I was looking for a method for Bihar electricity bill download online so that I could take a printout of it again. After some digging on the Internet, I found the process for both the SBPDCL website and the NBPDCL website. Let me explain the process of electricity bill download Bihar here.

1. If you want to move ahead with the process of electricity bill Bihar download you will have to go to the

   quick bill pay page of the SBPDCL website

2. There you will have to enter your CA number and then click on the ‘submit’ button.

3. You will then be able to see the details of your previous electricity bill including all of the dates and amount. For detailed information, you will have to click on the ‘view bill’ button.

4. To download the bill you will see a ‘download’ button next to the ‘printout’ button on the top side of the bill.

5. If you want to keep just the soft copy of your latest bill you can ‘save’ or ‘download the bill’ to your device. If you want to keep the hard copy you can simply take a printout of the bill.

How to download electricity bill online in Bihar through the NBPDCL website?

1. Go to the

   NBPDCL portal

2. On the home page, you'll be able to see the ‘print receipt’ option under the ‘instant payment’ section on the left side.

3. When the payment receipt page appears you will have to enter your CA number, type the code that will appear on the screen and then click on the ‘submit’ button.

4. The details of the NBPDCL bill will appear on your screen. Now you will have to click on the ‘view’ link.

5. After this, you will be able to see the NBPDCL online payment receipt on your screen.

6. You can easily ‘save or download’ this bill or receipt or take a printout, as you wish.
