A few years back, when I decided to redesign my kitchen into a modular one, I researched a lot to make it affordable. Finally, I decided to consult an interior designer and got the modular kitchen cost estimate which is perfectly in my budget. How Can I Get Modular Kitchen Estimate Cost??
First thing she did was look at the kitchen size and decided the type of modular kitchen according to that.
For example, if I wanted an L-shaped kitchen, she said that the approximate modular kitchen price estimate would be around Rs 1.5 to 3 lakhs, and for a smaller straight kitchen, I was told that the price ranges from Rs 65,000 to 95,000. So, I went with a smaller straight modular kitchen to cut down the expenses.
Next, she helped choose the materials and during the process, I learned that wood can cost Rs. 300 to Rs. 1,800 per sq ft, while PVC might range from Rs. 200 to Rs. 2,200 per sq ft. After all, I went with a matte-finish MDF modular kitchen that cost around Rs. 1.98 lakh.
Lastly, the designer told me about the extra things like pull-out baskets, lighting, or fancy countertops and that all these features have variable prices and were added to the overall price.
Overall, the cost was less than 4 lakhs which was almost equal to the expected cost.
