I live in another city, and since I am not able to tend to my property, I have given it to a property management company, which didn’t keep it well maintained. I tried reaching out to the property manager, but he wasn’t answering my calls. I planned to file a complaint and started searching for how to file a complaint against a property management company. During the process, I learned about a few steps, which I have added below.

How to Complain About a Property Management Company?

Here are a few things that I did to get my issue resolved.

  • First of all, I tried to get in touch with the management company to address the issue several times.

  • When that failed, I visited the nearest police station to file a complaint of cheating and fraud against the company.

  • I can say from my experience, that if this also fails, then you can also hire an advocate for some assistance.

  • Apart from that, you can also raise a complaint with the consumer court to get it resolved.

And that’s how you should be able to register a compliant against the property management company. I hired a lawyer to sort out the issue and the company later apologized and did what was necessary. I hope this helps.
