When do you need to fill out Form 60?

In order to conduct financial transactions that need a quotation of PAN, you must file Form 60 in one of the following two situations:

  1. If you have not applied for or obtained a PAN.

  2. If you applied for a PAN, but the allocation is still pending.

  3. Only in the scenario if your total income exceeds the limit for exempt income in the transactional year, then only Form 60 is permissible.

How to fill Form 60 in SBI?

  • You must provide your full name if you are a claimant.

  • You must provide an accurate home address.

  • You must provide the date of birth and the name of your father.

  • Your complete address must be provided in addition to your mobile number.

  • Your transaction information must be provided (including the amount).

  • You must specify the location where you submitted your tax returns.

  • You need to provide your Aadhaar details.

  • If you have not yet received your PAN, you should provide the acknowledgement number and the date you registered for it.
