A few months ago I wanted to know how to find my NCP days in EPFO so that I can track my contributions and ensure that I am getting the benefits that I am entitled to. To find my NCP days in PF, I realised that I could ither check my PF statement online or contact my employer's HR department. Let me tell you more about it.

What is NCP days in PF ?

To check my PF statement online:

  1. Go to the

    EPFO website

and log in to your account.

  2. Click on the "Member Passbook" tab.

  3. Under "Transaction History," select the date range for which you want to view your NCP days.

  4. Look for the column titled "NCP Days." This column will show you the number of NCP days for each month.

To contact my employer's HR department:

  1. Call or email your employer's HR department and request your PF statement.

  2. Once you have received your PF statement, look for the column titled "NCP Days." This column will show you the number of NCP days for each month.

It is important to note that NCP days can reduce the amount of PF that you receive when you retire. Therefore, it is important to track your NCP days and ensure that they are accurate.

Here are some additional tips for finding your NCP days in PF:

  • If you have changed jobs multiple times, you will need to combine your PF statements from all of your previous employers to get a complete picture of your NCP days.

  • If you are unsure about how to calculate your NCP days, you can contact the EPFO for assistance.

  • You can also use an online PF calculator to calculate your NCP days.

I hope this information is helpful.

  What is NCP days?

NCP days stands for Non-Contributory Period. It denotes the number of days for which a person or employee has been absent from the job for a particular month. If you have the query:

where to find NCP days in PF, know that you can see it while filing your PF monthly returns only.

  How to calculate NCP days?

My friend entered zero in the NCP column as he took no leave for that particular month. But let me help you explain it in more detail. Suppose it's November 2022 and you have taken no leave as of now and will take none, so your NCP for the month of November is going to be 0. If you have taken 1 leave, your NCP would have been 1 and termed as LOP or Loss of Pay. For this 1 day, your salary will get deducted and your PF contribution will also get reduced.

I hope I have been able to answer
