A few weeks back, I noticed yellowish water stains appearing on the floorboard. I got curious and did some research to understand the reason behind that. After that I came to know that the reason behind that was because of water leaks. After this, I started researching how to find water leak under floor. One method I learned about was to check for cracks, efflorescence or pooling of water.

How to Find Water Leak Under Concrete Floor?

Apart from what I have mentioned above, I learned about a few other methods as well. I have mentioned those methods below.

  1. If there is a musty and mouldy smell, it could have a water leakage issue. This is because these types of smells occur in damp environments and are mostly related to leaking water.

  2. Another method is by turning off water pipes. For this, you need to shut off all the main water pipes. This is done to isolate the leak.

  3. You can also try listening for faint trickling, gurgling, or bubbling sounds.

  4. You could check your household\'s average water consumption to figure out if there is any water loss or not.

These are some methods I learned after my research. To fix my issue, I hired a plumber through the

I hope this helps.
