How to install a kitchen sink?

  1. Before installing a kitchen sink please go through the template once. Place the template in the centre of the sink cabinet. It should be placed 1 ½ inches away from the countertops’ edge. Tape the template and mark the outline.

  2. After marking the position remove the template and drill ⅜ inch diameter holes on four sides of the corner. Use a sabre-saw blade to cut along the lines you have marked previously.

  3. Now it's time to insert the faucet and the sink strainers. Create a watertight seal between the kitchen and countertop. You can apply the plumber’s putty under the sink’s lip.

  4. Gently flip the sink and insert it into the opening. Do not damage the putty while inserting the sink.

  5. Generally, every sink is pulled down with the help of the mounting clip. You can follow the instruction manual for spacing the clips.

  6. Connect the P-trap and attach the faucet lines to the hot and cold water supply chain with tubes and connect the strainer to the waste line.

Remove the aerator from the faucet and turn on the water to clean the system. You can reinstall the aerator later.

This is the process of kitchen sink installation. I hope you find this informative.
