How to Fix a Smoking Electrical Outlet?

1. Firstly, do not panic and ask your family members to leave the house safely. Keep your eyes open for detecting any excessive smoke or visible flames.

4. If you are successful in turning off the breaker, then you can unplug anything that has been plugged into that very outlet. Be careful as the appliance can be hot.
