Hi Buddy,
My apartment's bathroom was being renovated. I live with my aged parents. As a result, I was thinking of fixing a toilet bidet spray hose
.
As it would assist my old parents with self-cleaning. However, I was unaware of how to fix it. As a result, I sought the help of the NoBroker plumbing service. They assisted me in installing the bidet spray.
I would like to brief you about the bidet fixation process.

How to fix bidet spray:The expert plumbers from NoBroker guided and assisted me with the following steps. I am glad that I have taken their help which actually made this entire process a cakewalk.
The steps of how to fix a bidet spray, are as follows;
- Unpack the Portable Bidet
To begin, they opened the handheld bidet package and double-checked that all of the necessary parts are included.
Sprayer hose, handheld sprayer, sprayer holder, T-valve, Teflon tape, screws and anchors, and gaskets are among the items included. They told me that to complete the installation, all that is required is a toilet and the system. The handheld bidet is a simple type with adjustable water pressure. Variable water pressure is critical for controlling the strength of the spray from the sprayer. It will be uncomfortable if the spray is too strong
- Turned off the water and emptied the tank
After that, they switched off the toilet's water supply. My toilet, like others, has a shutoff valve in the rear behind the tank. You'll have to seek for this valve and then turn it all the way off.
Before disconnecting the line, they at first emptied it of water. This was accomplished by emptying the tank. Simply flushing the toilet will empty the toilet tank. You shouldn't hear any water running in to fill the tank because you turned off the water. If you don't hear any rushing water, you've successfully shut off the water.
If you still hear rushing water, double-check that your water shut-off valve is in the "off" position
- Removed the water line
They unscrewed the water line from the toilet tank's base. Before they started, they made sure that they had a bucket and a rag handy in case of any water leakage.
They reached just underneath the tank for a nut; mine is plastic. Unscrewed and removed the nut, then lined and dried any spilled water
- Connect the T-Valve
You will have to identify your T-valve. A gasket washer should be on the inside of the nut on the top of the valve. This nut will be placed against the toilet tank's base. The top nut of the t-valve will now be fitted into the threads on the toilet tank's bottom.
Once everything was finished, they tightened everything up.
The manufacturer recommended turning off the system's valve after each use. So they double-checked that the shutoff valve is on the outside. Also, before continuing, they double-checked that the valve is in the "off" position
- Water Line Connection
Now they connected the water line to the bottom threads of the T-valve in the toilet tank. The water line must be connected to the bottom of the T-valve in this model (opposite the side that is connected to the tank). Simply tighten your hand once more. In the next stage, the other female thread (opposite the T-water valve's control) will be utilised to connect to the bidet sprayer
- Connect the Sprayer Hose and the Sprayer
Now it's time for the sprayer. The hose and sprayer will be required. They made sure that the hose has a black gasket on both ends. Screwed the nut onto the threads on the inside of the T-valve to secure the hose end.
The other end of the hose was screwed into the sprayer's bottom.
- Attach the Sprayer Holder
When not in use, the spray nozzle on the handheld bidet was held in a sprayer holder. The sprayer holder was now installed. The sprayer holder can be hung on the wall or hung on the toilet tank's edge.
I decided to have it attached to my tank. Hence, they lifted the top of the tank, hooked on to the tank's edge, and then lowered the lid.
- Check for Leaks in the Sprayer
Now is the time to inspect the bidet for any leaks. They guided me to reconnect the water slowly. Everything was hand-tightened so that I can go back and tighten it a little more if necessary. The water should turn on and begin filling the tank. Then I continued to turn the water valve until it is in the same position as before.
They helped in examining the hose and connectors for any leaks and continued compressing the sprayer trigger until the sprayer is totally open and water is spraying out if everything looks good.
Note: If your water pressure is really high and the lightest spray setting is still too intense for you, reduce your water pressure. The water pressure can be adjusted using the wall-mounted water valve.
That's it! Your handheld bidet is ready to use if it does not leak. Remember to follow the manufacturer's operating and maintenance directions. I hereby conclude my answer about fixing a toilet bidet spray. I hope this helps:)
