• After that, he used long screws to attach the basin to the wall. He tightened them enough so the basin wouldn’t wobble but didn’t overdo it, just to avoid cracking the ceramic.

• Once the wash basin was attached, he connected the pipes. This part included hooking up the water supply and the drain.

• He double-checked that all the connections were tight so there wouldn’t be any leaks later on. 

• After everything was in place, he tested the water flow to make sure it was working properly.

1. The first thing you need to do is finalise the height at which you want to place the sink. This should ideally be at a height that the kids can reach comfortably, and you as an adult, also don’t need to bend much.

2. After this, measure the distance from the top of the basin to the fixing holes and the distance between the two fixing holes. You must measure to the center of each fixing hole. Cross-check the measurements and write them down.

3. Using a pencil, mark a point on the wall according to the height you’ve decided for the basin. Extend the line out with the help of a spirit level to make sure it is straight. 

4. Now you need to draw a straight line up from the water supply. This will help you mark the center point of the basin.

5. Measure down from the top edge and find the height of the fixing holes by using the distance from the top of the basin to the fixing holes. 

6. Draw this line onto the wash basin wall. To make it horizontal, use a spirit level.

7. Measure outwards from your center line and mark the position of the fixing holes with the help of the distance between the two fixing holes.

8. The next step is to drill in the anchor points. But before you do so, make sure that the wall can handle the load, that you’re not above any pipes or electrical sockets and that you’re equipped with protective eyewear.

9. Moving on, drill the basin’s fixing holes. Insert the wall plugs by using the hammer. 

10. Place the wall anchors into the wall plugs and use a spanner to tighten them up. 

11. Set up the wash basin on the wall anchors and see that it rests against the wall at a straight angle. 

12. One person needs to hold the basin and fit the flanged collar sleeve, washer and nut to every wall anchor. Tighten the nuts after you’ve checked that the sink is at level.

13. Connect the water supply and ensure that there are no leaks. Use silicone sealant to seal the back edge of the sink. 

14. Let it cure for a while before you start using the wash basin.

1. Cut a Rectangle in the Wall: Make a rectangle hole into the wall with a drywall saw that is 6 inches higher vertically than the intended sink location and extends all the way to the joists on either of the sink's sides. If the wall is tiled, carefully pull each one off one at a time while setting them away in the event you need to repurpose them.

2. Putting in the Block: Screw horizontal 2"x8" or 2"x6" blocking flush with the room-side borders with its face towards the space between the uncovered studs.

3. Assemble Drain and Water System Lines: To redirect water pipes which were previously servicing another sink, trim them back to a point of 6 inches before you want them to protrude from the wall using a hacksaw. Solder shoulder fittings and 12-inch pipe to them to expand them out maybe 2 inches beyond the final wall.

4. Setting up the shut-off valves: Complete the floor and wall before installing the new plasterboard and any additional wall coverings you might require. Cut the pipe stubs out an inch past the wall using a pipe cutter or a hacksaw.

5. Installing a Trap Adapter: The majority of bathroom sink P-traps are 112 inches in diameter, whereas the drain pipe is 2 inches. As a result, you must install a trap adapter measuring 2 112 inches together with a hand-tighten cable P-trap pipe compression fitting. Cut the drain pipe 1 to 2 inches further than the wall, then glue the fittings on with plastic pipe cement.

6. A sink mounting bracket should be installed. Mount the bracket in the desired wall position. To level it and mark the locations of the mounting holes for the lag screws, use a torpedo level.

7. Preparing the Basin: To install the wash basin, pack the strainer flange's underside with the plumber's packing material and insert the strainer into the sink drain hole. Tighten the nut using tongue-and-groove pliers.

8. Installation of a Wall Hung Basin: At this point, you are aware of how to install a Wall Hung Basin, but you must carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions.

9. Set up the Pop-up Blocker: Drop the stopper in after screwing a tailpiece onto the sink drain. The stopper lever should be inserted, hooked onto the bottom of the stopper flange, and then screwed onto the tailpiece.

10. To connect the drain, first cut the tailpiece from the floor to the same elevation as the drain aperture in the wall. Slide the washer and sliding nut onto the tailpiece. To install the P-trap, put the tailpiece through into the trap opening and tighten the nut.

11. Installing a wall-mounted sink faucet involves screwing one tip of the water system hose to each faucet inlet and the remaining end to the shutdown valves.
