Soon after submitting an application for a new PAN card or an update for an existing one, you will receive the ACK number PAN card . While UTIITSL generates a 9-digit application coupon number, NSDL generates a 15-digit PAN acknowledgement number for the organisation.

How to find acknowledgement number of PAN card?

• The acknowledgement number can be found on the Pan Acknowledgement sheet or on the Pan Acknowledgement form that has been given to you if you are applying for a new Pan Card or to update any data in the current Pan Database. 

• If you have applied for a PAN online, the acknowledgement number will be sent to the email address you have provided.

• If a person applies for a PAN offline, the agent submitting the form must provide the applicant with an acknowledgement number for the Pan Card once the application has been received.
