As I said, the condition was horrible and there was no way I was getting rid of those stubborn stains just by scrubbing. I asked mom and she said that I should get a Harpic Toilet cleaner first.
I flushed the toilet
Waited for 2 minutes and then poured Harpic generously in the toilet bowl, right at the bottom as well.
Mom said that usually you have to wait for just 10-15 minutes for it to work but since mine was a unique case, she advised me to let it sit for approximately 45 minutes
After 45 minutes, she asked me to spray water lightly over the Harpic solution. Not so much to drain it off.
Once that was done, I took a toilet brush and started scrubbing. It took me approximately 15-29 minutes to finally come to a stage where it was not as bad.
I flushed the whole thing and used a bathroom cleaner, again from Harpic, to clean the other areas.
