How to get domicile certificate urgently ?

My sister wanted to get a domicile certificate to apply for Karnataka state scholarship schemes. She was enquiring, can I get domicile certificate online? I informed her that all the eligible applicants can apply for a domicile certificate in Karnataka both offline, and online.

It was because of her urgency, she enquired, whether can I get domicile certificate in one day? I informed her that as of my knowledge within seven days of the application date, assuming all the required documents are correctly submitted, the relevant applicant will receive the Domicile Certificate.

An urgent domicile certificate fees varies from state to state. While some states do not impose any fees on the candidates, others may do so ranging from INR 2 to INR 60. 

After clarifying her query about how to get domicile certificate in one day, I informed her that the Karnataka domicile certificate will be issued by the revenue department in 7 working days.

You can get a domicile certificate in Maharashtra online as well as offline. Take a look at the process for the online method.

• Open the official website of Maharashtra Aaple Sarkar

• Log in with your credentials

• On the dashboard, select the “Revenue Department” option.

• Further, choose the "Revenue services" option.

• Then choose the "Age, Nationality, and Domicile Certificate” option

• A form will be displayed.

• Fill out the form with your information  

• Then scan and attach all the necessary documents

• To submit, hit on the “ enter” button.

Your application will be verified and once that is done, you will get the certificate.

Since each state has a different format and method of getting domicile certificates, you will have to contact the state authority where you want to obtain the certificate.The steps are given below :

• You can apply for a Domicile Certificate from the citizen portal of the UP Government. The link for which is https://edistrict.up.gov.in/edistrictup/

• Log on to the website with your credentials. 

• Select the Registration option and register yourself. Enter Verification Code sent to your registered mobile number. 

• On successful registration, the applicant will receive verification code to the respective mobile number.

• Fill the application form

• Scan and attach necessary documents

• Click on the submit button.
