Using a solution of water and white vinegar, dried grout can be cleaned off ceramic tiles. Our first floor has glazed ceramic tiles that were placed a month ago, however, the grout was left in place by the workers. We ignored it at first, but we could not do so for very long because it ruined the house's overall appearance. I therefore researched how to get dried grout off ceramic tile. I discovered this white vinegar hack at that moment. I have shared the detailed process for you below.
How to Get Dried Grout Off of Ceramic Tile?
Dried grout is a persistent and ugly issue with ceramic tile surfaces. Thank God, I got rid of it. If you are also facing similar issues, here is the process you can follow.
To begin, mix white vinegar with water in a 2:4 ratio. I used more vinegar to make the cleaner stronger.
You can now transfer the mixture to a spray bottle or bucket.
Apply the solution to the afflicted area of your ceramic tile.
You can use a mop, a cloth, or a nylon pad to scrub the area carefully. I used a nylon pad for my ceramic tiles.
Finally, rinse your tiles with clean water and use a microfiber cloth to wipe the area dry.
I followed the above process yesterday, and now my tiles are looking beautiful again. Just one thing to keep in mind the above process is only for glazed ceramic tiles. Alternatively, you can use a grout scraper or better hire a professional cleaner. I hope this helps you understand how to get dry grout off ceramic tile.
