How to get EC online Andhra Pradesh?

Step 1:

Visit the Andhra Pradesh Registration and Stamp Department (IGRS) official Web portal.

Step 2:

Choose the option 'Online EC'.

Step 3:

In case you are not a member of IGRS website you need to get registered in the portal. Tap on 'Click here' option to register yourself.

Step 4:

For registering you need to provide all the details and click on submit. You need to enter all the information such as:

  • Name

  • Password

  • Mobile number

  • Aadhaar Number

  • User ID

  • E-mail

  • Address

Step 5:

After entering the mobile number you will get an SMS on your phone which has the OTP. You have to enter the OTP and hit submit.

Step 6:

After logging in you need to choose the encumbrance certificate option.

Step7:

To learn how to get ec online in Andhra Pradesh you need to provide information and click on submit. Information required to fill in:

  • Document number

  • Registration year

  • SRO name or code

Step 8:

After this information of the property will appear on your screen. You will be able to see the signed or Unsigned EC option.

Step 9:

Choose the unsigned certificate option and you will be redirected to another page.

Step 10:

You can choose the option 'select all' now and you will receive all the details of the property. Tap on print to get the encumbrance certificate.

If you are selecting the signed certificate skip options 9 and 10. Instead select the signed certificate option. You will receive OTP on your mobile number. After you enter your OTP you can download the signed EC certificate.

Hi Friend,

I am a property dealer. I also advice people with various property documents. One such concern is getting an Encumbrance Certificate Andhra Pradesh online.

I

have gone through Harsh’s answer, and I agree with the steps he mentioned for the same. 

I often ask my clients to go through his answer for getting Andhra Pradesh land EC.

Online EC is only available for transactions made after January 1, 1983. As a result, anyone requiring EC prior to January 1, 1983, should contact the SRO office.

As you guys already know from Harsh’s answer about how to get EC for land online in AP, I would like to brief you on another way to get EC. 

The method for obtaining an encumbrance certificate through the MeeSeva franchise is as follows:

  • The candidate must go to a MeeSeva franchise near them.

  • For the encumbrance certificate, the applicant must submit an application in the appropriate manner to MeeSeva Centre. Give the document's details, as well as the registration year and the SRO's name. Make a note of the EC delivery method

  • Pay the charge to the MeeSeva operator for the encumbrance application to be processed

  • The AP Registration Department will handle the encumbrance certificate request electronically. The applicant will receive SMS updates on the status of his or her EC application

  • The concerned authority, i.e., the SRO will process the encumbrance certificate request electronically, and following successful verification, the Sub Registrar officer will approve it

  • An SMS will be sent to the provided mobile number once the Encumbrance certificate request is granted, indicating that the application has been approved

  • If the Delivery Type is Speed Post Local or Non-Local, the Encumbrance Certificate will be issued by courier from the franchisee to the address once the SRO accepts the request

  • If the delivery method is manual, the applicant can pick up the Encumbrance Certificate at the MeeSeva franchisee where they applied
