Hi Buddy,
I have gone through Bindu Shankar’s answer about Getting EWS certificate in Maharashtra. His answer is very detailed and informative. He mentioned all the criteria like applying process and the documents required for EWS certificate.
However, I feel that the process mentioned by him is an offline procedure as one of my friends followed his steps to obtain the EWS certificate offline.
EWS applications can be submitted online in a variety of states. One can also track the status of their application through the online site. They can use the application number to track the status of their application. All candidates must keep their application numbers so that they can check the status of their applications online.
Criteria of EWS certificateThe candidate's family's annual income must be less than Rs. 8 lakhs
Their family cannot have more than 5 acres of farmland
The size of the residential flat should be less than 1000 square feet
In India, there is one state that has its unique criterion/
eligibility of
EWS certificate. For example, if you go to the Haryana website and look at the EWS certificate type, you'll notice that the annual income requirement is less than 6 lakhs, whereas the central government's need is less than 8 lakhs.
I hope this answer helps you:)
